A delegation of more than 30 lawyers from the Florida Bar’s international section—primarily from South Florida—will be visiting Cuba this week to learn about investment opportunities, the legal system in Cuba and mix in a little tourism.

The trip, which leaves Miami on Wednesday and returns Saturday, includes former American Bar Association president and Boies, Schiller & Flexner Miami managing partner Stephen Zack; three lawyers from Foley & Lardner including Francisco Cerezo, head of the firm’s Latin American practice; three lawyers from Genovese Joblove & Battista including founder John Genovese; four lawyers from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney; and Marcia Narine, a law professor at St. Thomas University School of Law. The trip was organized by Cuba Cultural Travel of Fallbrook, California.
