University of Miami School of Law graduates can now pursue a two-year residency working for UnitedLex, a global legal services firm.

“This new program with UnitedLex will provide meaningful employment opportunities for the graduates of our schools in important and growing areas of legal practice, working with the support of experienced attorneys and industry experts,” law dean Patricia White said in a news release.

Kansas-based UnitedLex will take on three to 10 recent UM graduates. The company will also launch residency programs at Emory University School of Law, The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and Vanderbilt Law School. The residency sprouted from a pilot program at UM.
