Technology will take center stage when more than 2,000 lawyers converge on Boca Raton for Florida's largest annual gathering of attorneys: the Florida Bar conference.
The Florida Bar is the third-largest mandatory bar association in the country behind California and the District of Columbia with 101,000 lawyer members. The conference will be held Wednesday through Saturday at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.
Sedgwick partner Ramon Abadin of Miami will be sworn in Friday as the 67th president of the Bar, taking over from West Palm Beach partner Gregory Coleman of Critton Luttier & Coleman. Abadin, a native of Cuba, is the third consecutive Bar president from South Florida.
