A jury has awarded the estate of a smoker more than $6.38 million in a products liability case.
Lawyers for Mary Brown, whose husband Rayfield Brown died of lung cancer in 1995 at 58, sued Philip Morris USA. Plaintiffs counsel alleged the company’s products caused him to become addicted to nicotine.
