A private West Palm Beach college changed hands for $25 million as Northwood University continues to streamline its business to improve revenue.

The Midland, Michigan-based school sold off its 31-year-old West Palm Beach operations to Keiser University's Everglades College. It was the latest sale for Northwood, which shut down a Dallas campus last year as revenue continued to slide, dropping from $99.1 million in 2011 to $94.5 million in 2013, according to the university's latest filings.

It closed the deal with Everglades College on Thursday, transferring ownership of campuses on Northwood University Drive and North Military Trail to the Fort Lauderdale-based company.
