Three lawyers who specialize in the niche practice of corporate aviation have joined forces, opening an office at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport with a view of the runway.
Lapayowker Burgess focuses on aviation transactions and litigation throughout the world. The firm's attorneys—Stewart Lapayowker, Scott Burgess and Sydney Macca—are involved in the sale, purchase, regulatory analysis, financing and management of corporate aircraft.
Lapayowker previously ran Lapayowker Jet Counsel, while Macca worked with Lapayowker Jet Counsel for 14 months. She is a member of the National Business Aviation Association safety committee and corporate secretary of the Connecticut Business Aviation Group.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
