“Why is 103,000 lawyers too many lawyers when 70 percent of people can't get legal services?”

Florida Bar President Ramon Abadin finally acknowledged Tuesday what most of the legal community already knew: reciprocity is a dead issue—at least for now.

“It looks like it's not going to pass,” Abadin said at a community forum on reciprocity hosted by the Dade County Bar Association. “But it's not going to go away. Does Florida want to be the 49th state to consider the uniform bar exam outside of Hawaii?”
