The Deal: The CBRE team arranged the sale of two phases of Fort Lauderdale's Port Royale gated apartment community to an affiliate of Waterton Associates, a Chicago-based investor in multifamily and hospitality properties. Waterton paid $94 million for the 22.4-acre property, according to Broward County property records.
The seller in the transaction that closed Oct. 14 is an affiliate of Dallas-based Mill Creek Residential Trust, a developer and operator of apartment communities.
