Two longtime Sedgwick lawyers have joined GrayRobinson in Fort Lauderdale, saying they were motivated to make the move primarily because they had tired of the Miami commute they inherited when Sedgwick closed its Fort Lauderdale office last summer.

Robert Weill said he and colleague Eric Lundt reached out to a headhunter when they decided that the time the commute took out of their day was altering their standard of living.

“We live very close to each other, which is near our old Fort Lauderdale office—almost walking distance,” said Lundt, who joins GrayRobinson as a shareholder. “It was a lifestyle decision for both of us.”
