Scott Names Miami-Dade Judge to Third DCA
Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Norma Lindsey has been appointed to the Third District Court of Appeal. Lindsey will replace Judge Linda Ann Wells, who retired March 31.

Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Norma Lindsey has been appointed to the Third District Court of Appeal.
Gov. Rick Scott announced the appointment Friday afternoon. Lindsey will replace Judge Linda Ann Wells, who retired March 31.
Lindsey, 52, has been a judge since 2005, when she was appointed to the Miami-Dade County Court bench. She served in the criminal and civil divisions there before Scott appointed her to the circuit bench in 2011.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments.
