A sprawling, Mediterranean-inspired Palm Beach mansion has changed hands for $36 million.

Oceanic Place Properties LLC, a company linked to New York businessman Leslie Gelber, sold the 12,152-square-foot oceanfront residence Tuesday, according to Palm Beach County property records.

Known as Villa Tranquilla, the home at the corner of Ocean Boulevard and El Brillo Way was purchased by 640 Palm Beach LLC, a company represented by West Palm Beach lawyer Larry Alexander of Jones Foster Johnston & Stubbs.
