The Miami-Dade County Court judge since 1999 is recognized by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Jorge Labarga.

Miami-Dade County Court Judge Carroll J. Kelly is the 2017 recipient of the Chief Justice Award for Judicial Excellence for her leadership in domestic violence judicial education.
Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Jorge Labarga presented the award at the Conference of County Court Judges of Florida.
Kelly was appointed to the Miami-Dade bench in 1999 and serves as the administrative judge in the Miami-Dade County domestic violence division.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
