The state Supreme Court disciplined three South Florida attorneys, including one with a felony conviction, the Florida Bar announced Monday.

Christopher Jones of Miami was suspended for three years after he was found in contempt for failing to comply with a November suspension order. He was originally suspended after pleading no contest to trespassing and conveyance of a deadly weapon, a third-degree felony, according to the Florida Supreme Court. Jones was sentenced to two years of probation.

The court then suspended Jones for 18 months starting in August 2016. Jones was required to notify clients, opposing counsel and judges his law license was suspended, but he failed to send proof he'd done so by the deadline, according to the state bar.
