The late powerhouse South Florida litigator Ervin Gonzalez received a posthumous writing credit on a newly published University of Miami Law Review article with attorneys from his firm and Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel.

The article in the quarterly legal journal addresses a Florida Supreme Court opinion issued in 2013 on the economic loss rule.

The writing credits list Gonzalez as a Colson Hicks Eidson partner who died earlier this year and quotes law partner Dean Colson as saying Gonzalez “spent his career serving his community and fighting on behalf of people in need. His generosity and peerless legal advocacy impacted the lives of countless clients, students, and colleagues, and he inspired all who knew him.”
