Joanne Braddock Lambert, a partner at Jackson Lewis who has been with the firm for 17 years, has been named office managing partner in Orlando.

Lambert succeeds Donald Works III, who is stepping down from the role to focus on his litigation practice after 10 years in the position and 20 years at the firm.

Lambert is the latest of a number of women lawyers promoted to managing roles in Florida following a survey conducted last year by the Florida Bar Young Lawyer's Division that found widespread gender bias in the state's legal profession.
