Law firms that handle insurance claims are actively marketing themselves to victims of Hurricane Irma, anticipating that a flood of policy holder and insurer claim disputes will arise in the wake of the storm.

The firm Anidjar & Levine, which often runs ads for personal injury work, recently simulcast TV and radio advertisements promoting their insurance claims expertise. A banner related to Hurricane Irma runs along the top of their website and offers hurricane and insurance tips and the firm's toll-free number for those who need help dealing with an insurance company.

At Mase in Miami, name partner Tony Tinelli said the firm doesn't usually advertise, but it is in the midst of developing radio ads relating to insurance claim work and will air them in the next few days. Tinelli represented insurance companies for 12 years, but at the end of last year changed his focus. He now represents homeowner and business insurance policy holders.
