Florida International University was the top performer in the July General Bar Examination, which drew 3,247 applicants.
The school had the highest percentage of students—87.8 percent—who passed the exam given July 25-26 in Tampa, according to a release Monday from the Florida Supreme Court.
It beat out the University of Miami, which had an 84.2 percent pass rate to cinch second place, and Florida State University, which came in third with 83.9 percent.
