A builder, a developer and realtors are some of the South Floridians helping Hurricane Irma victims in the hardest-hit areas: The Caribbean and the Florida Keys.

Aria Development Group, a Miami- and New York City-based development and investment firm, and Coastal Construction, the general contractor that has built projects throughout the state, have partnered to collect donations — from food and water to clothes and toiletries.

“It was sort of the evident thing to do,” said David Arditi, founding principal of Aria Development Group in Miami. “There are many people who were less fortunate than us during the hurricane and suffered extensive loss. … We thought it was the least we could do.”
