A Tampa principal with Jackson Lewis has been hired by the Florida Legislature to investigate harassment allegations against state Sen. Jack Latvala.

National employment law firm Jackson Lewis has been hired by the Florida Legislature to investigate a state senator accused by six women of groping or making demeaning comments about their bodies.
The decision came the same day that an attorney for state Sen. Jack Latvala released the results of his polygraph exam. The polygraph examiner concluded the Clearwater Republican was being truthful when he denied inappropriately touching women.
Politico Florida first reported the allegations, and the news outlet said the women did not want to be identified for fear of losing their jobs. The women included legislative staff members and lobbyists.
Senate President Joe Negron authorized the Jackson Lewis investigation into the allegations.
Tampa principal Gail Golman Holtzman will lead the probe. The immediate past chair of the American Bar Association's labor and employment section has conducted other workplace investigations.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
