Zinn Joins Bressler Amery as Financial Regulatory Principal in Fort Lauderdale
Kerry Zinn joins the firm as a principal focusing on financial crime compliance and regulatory enforcement.

Bressler, Amery & Ross announced a new hire Wednesday in the firm's Fort Lauderdale office.
Kerry Zinn has joined the firm as a principal focusing on financial crime compliance counseling and investigations and enforcement actions by regulators.
Zinn previously was regional counsel for UBS Financial Crime Compliance Americas, where she was the lead attorney advising retail and institutional broker dealers, investment advisers and private banks on their financial crime prevention programs and regulatory issues.
Before joining UBS, Zinn was a lead trial attorney in the Miami office of the Securities and Exchange Commission and represented that agency in federal court and administrative proceedings.
Andrew Sidman, head of Bressler's securities regulatory defense practice and managing principal of the firm's New York office, said in a news release that Zinn “is a great addition to our team.”
“Her deep experience in financial crime compliance and the defense of regulatory investigations involving deficiencies in financial crime compliance programs and other issues impacting financial services firms will greatly benefit our clients,” he said.
Zinn said she is pleased to join Bressler's securities law practice. She also mentioned “expanding the firm's practice areas to include financial crime compliance counseling for all types of financial institutions and other businesses that have financial crime prevention programs.”
Zinn will advise on compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and other financial crime laws and regulations. Her practice focuses on regulatory investigations and enforcement actions by the SEC, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and other regulators.
Zinn has a law degree from the University of Miami and a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.
