Jacqueline B. Kiviat has been named executive director of the Dade County Bar Association, the largest voluntary bar association in Florida.

The selection followed a regional search and selection process by a committee led by past president Jeffrey Rynor.

Kiviat served as executive director and COO of TerraLex, a worldwide network of independent law firms, for 16 years, expanding membership from 6,000 to 19,000 lawyers and increasing revenue fivefold. She also served in management roles at AT&T in South Florida and New York.

She served on the board of the Broward Public Library Foundation and the Miami City Ballet, as an advisory council member of the National Association of Women Business Owners and as vice president of the Southeast Florida chapter of the American Business Women's Association. She also used her expertise to benefit the United Way of Broward County.
