Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin has expanded its workers' compensation department to Florida with three additions.

Shareholders Heather Byrer Carbone and Linda Wagner Farrell and associate Kelly M. Scifres will lead the firm's statewide workers' comp defense practice from the Jacksonville office after joining from Boyd & Jenerette in Jacksonville.

Niki T. Ingram, director of Marshall Dennehey's workers' comp department, said the firm was “waiting for the right time and opportunity” to launch in Florida and expects further expansion.

Carbone will serve as the department's practice group leader in Florida. She has practiced worker's comp defense and employment law for 17 years and is board-certified by the Florida Bar in workers' compensation.

Farrell has practiced workers' comp law for over 15 years, and Scifres has five years of workers' comp experience.

Philadelphia-based Marshall Dennehey is a civil defense litigation law firm with more than 500 attorneys in 20 offices. The firm has other Florida offices in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa.
