Judge Renatha Francis was appointed by the governor to the Miami-Dade County Court bench in August. She specialized in representing insurance providers in personal injury protection litigation. Francis also worked as an attorney at the First District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee, and First DCA Judge Scott Makar offered personal remarks at her investiture.
