Miami-Dade County Court Judge Laura Anne Stuzin was elevated to the circuit court bench by Gov. Rick Scott last October. Before taking the bench, she was of counsel at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell in Miami and began her legal career as an intern at the Miami-Dade state attorney's office. She knew since she was a young child that she was destined for a career in law, following in the footsteps of her father real estate attorney Charles Stuzin.
