Personal injury attorney Marcos Antonio Gonzalez-Balboa allegedly spent about six hours at a bar, where he ordered at least 20 drinks the day police claim he killed a woman in a hit-and-run car crash.

Gonzalez-Balboa, of Hialeah, heads Miami Lakes law practice Marcos A. Gonzalez P.A.

Police say he struck 26-year-old Tatum Holloway with his silver 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 after a night of drinking and then fled the scene. Gonzalez-Balboa is charged with DUI manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene of a crash and tampering with physical evidence.

An affidavit to support his arrest warrant includes two bills, which suggest Gonzalez-Balboa spent nearly $350 on at least 20 drinks at Bulla Gastrobar in Coral Gables.

The number of drinks the attorney actually consumed is unknown.

“Video surveillance footage shows that the subject was having difficulty walking properly, and that he appeared to stumble as he walked,” Miami-Dade Police Department Detective Jeffrey Childers wrote in the affidavit. “The subject can be seen on video surveillance footage attempting to leave the parking garage in his vehicle. However, it took him a long time to exit the garage, as the video footage recovered in this case shows he had trouble with putting money, or a ticket into the machine that operates the exit gate.”
