The Broward Sheriff's Office released incident reports Friday that outline the response by deputies after the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the site of one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.
Confessed shooter Nikolas Cruz faces 17 murder counts and 17 attempted murder counts.
The Sheriff's Office said it released the supplemental reports about the Parkland mass shooting in response to public records requests. It follows national controversy about the response of the high school's armed resource officer during the shooting.
