A state appellate court has revived a legal malpractice lawsuit filed by a client who lost a dependency case, ruling an arbitration clause in a retainer agreement was unenforceable under Florida Bar rules.

Lindsay Owens is suing Katherine L. Corrigan and Fort Lauderdale firm KLC Law, seeking damages for the “removal of her children, living in fear and being forced to move to another jurisdiction,” the complaint said.
