The Florida Supreme Court has permanently disbarred the former general counsel of the Miccosukee Tribe of Florida over allegations of years of frivolous litigation filed in a long-running dispute between lawyers.

The brief order entered by a unanimous court gives Bernardo Roman III of Coral Gables 30 days from July 12 to “close out his practice and protect the interests of existing clients.”
