Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal Wednesday revived a slip-and-fall lawsuit for a woman whose case got derailed by a messy fight among partners at the firm handling her claim.

Instead, the judicial panel found the trial court had been too severe in dismissing plaintiff Justine Gordon’s case, as a sanction for missteps by plaintiff counsel at Lauri J. Goldstein & Associates, formerly A Law Firm of Goldstein Schmitt & Wade.
