When American Landmark embarked on a $1.5 billion apartments acquisition spree this year across the Southeast U.S. and Texas, it turned to real estate attorney Michael Denberg.

“In a 30-day period, since May 24, we closed on 11 properties,” said Denberg, managing partner at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr in Fort Lauderdale. ”That was a very busy time. That’s busy for anybody.”
