MOTOR VEHICLE

PALM BEACH CIRCUIT COURT

A jury found a motorist was not liable for back and hand injuries to another motorist.

On July 26, 2011, Keith Friberg, then 44, got into a fight at an adult entertainment club in West Palm Beach. As he drove away, he was followed by Ryan Cramsey, a co-worker of the other man involved in the fight. The vehicles collided as they were driving next to each other on the Palm Beach Lake Bridge. Friberg claimed he suffered fractures to his pinkies and aggravations to existing cervical and lumbar herniations.

Cramsey claimed the pinkie fractures were from Friberg punching the co-worker and not from the collision. He also claimed Friberg's spinal condition was due to degeneration, noting Friberg had little treatment until five years after the crash.
