Five Fox Rothschild attorneys have jumped to Carlton Fields' D.C. real estate and commercial finance practice.

Gina A. Hough and Samantha T. Schneck were co-chairs of Fox Rothschild's real estate and housing finance practice. Marsha M. Baumgarner, Duy Duc “Dewey” Nguyen and Vincent D. Weinert-Baumann have also left the practice to join Carlton Fields.

“Gina, Samantha, and their team bring to the firm specialized experience in agency lending and HUD financing,” Greg Null, Carlton Fields' commercial finance industry group leader, said in a statement.

Hough represents lenders that originate multifamily financing for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Federal Housing Administration-insured execution. Schneck's practice focuses on real estate finance transactions with an emphasis on federally insured loans for multifamily housing and health care.

“The experience and depth of bench Carlton Fields offers is exciting and compelling,” Hough said in a statement. “We are thrilled to join their expert practice. There is a lot of synergy to our approach and delivery of client service. We believe that our clients will benefit greatly from our move as we can now provide them with services in all sectors.”

In addition to the five attorneys, six staff members have also made the move from Fox Rothschild to Carlton Fields.

Fox Rothschild did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
