Fort Lauderdale's Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock has absorbed boutique personal injury firm Malove Henratty, as four Krupnick attorneys leave to start their own firm.

Malove Henratty attorneys Scott Henratty and Randall Diez Jr. will join Krupnick Campbell on Feb.1. The incoming attorneys will focus on medical malpractice litigation while assisting the firm in other catastrophic and serious injury cases. Neither attorneys are joining as partner.

“Skip Campbell and I created an unparalleled culture of hard work and enthusiastic trial advocacy on behalf of our clients,” Krupnick Campbell founding partner Jon Krupnick said in a statement. Walter G. “Skip” Campbell Jr. served in the Florida Senate for a decade and then mayor of Coral Springs until until he died in October last year.

“The firm and our incoming medical malpractice team shall continue these traditions and remain at the forefront of trial advocacy,” Krupnick said.

The new arrivals come as name partner Scott Liberman and three other Krupnick Campbell attorneys—Ivan Cabrera, Sean Thompson and Brent Reitman—have left the firm to start their own boutique medical malpractice and personal injury firm: Liberman Cabrera Thompson & Reitman. The new firm will reside in the 110 Tower building in Fort Lauderdale.

“Our goal is to ensure that each client receives a comprehensive analysis, so when clients chose LCTR, they don't just get the attorney who signed them up, they get all four partners plus our experienced support team,” Thompson said in a statement about his new firm. “It's important we are all involved and look at every case from every angle in order to maximize our clients' recovery.”

Krupnick Campbell partner Joe Slama wished his former colleagues well.

“We wish Scott, Ivan, Sean and Brent the best with their new firm,” he said.
