Litigators David Batista and Sara Levy have jumped from Greenberg Traurig to Shutts & Bowen in Fort Lauderdale.

Levy and Batista will join the firm's insurance practice group as partners. Batista has two decades of experience in complex commercial litigation, including insurance, business torts, class actions, and products liability cases. Levy's primary focus is insurance defense in both state and federal courts.

“David and Sara bring an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and years of proven litigation experience to our firm,” Joseph Goldstein, managing partner of Shutts & Bowen's Fort Lauderdale office, said in a statement. “We are excited to have them on board and for both of them to help expand the offerings of our Insurance and Litigation Practice Groups.”
