Bronwyn C. Miller is sworn in as a judge on the Third District Court of Appeal. Before joining the appellate court, she was handling civil cases and ran unopposed for her latest term on the Miami-Dade circuit bench last year. Then Gov. Charlie Crist appointed her to the circuit bench in 2010, and Gov. Jeb Bush appointed her to the county court bench in 2005. Miller has taught at Florida International University and was admitted to the Florid Bar in 1997 after obtaining her bachelor's degree from Columbia University and her law degree from the University of Miami.
