Jones Day partner Adam Rogers has joined McDermott Will & Emery's Miami office.
Rogers will be part of the firm's health industry advisory practice. He previously worked at McDermott for five years before going to DLA Piper in 2012 and then Jones Day in 2017.

“Adam's return not only strengthens our Miami health care capabilities, it augments our deep, nation-wide team of health care practitioners,” Eric Zimmerman, a partner and International head of McDermott's health industry advisory group, said in a statement.
Rogers advises organizations on a variety of health care regulatory matters, including licensing, enrollment and certification, fraud and abuse, Medicare program compliance requirements, corporate practice restrictions, group purchasing organizations, and health reform.
Jones Day did not respond to an immediate request for comment.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
