The Boston-based litigation firm Campbell Conroy & O'Neil has opened offices in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach County — the firm's first foray into Florida.

Firm president James Campbell will head the Palm Beach office, while Brandon Perkins, who joined the firm from Rogers Towers, will lead the Fort Lauderdale office. Rogers Towers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Florida is a growing market for the firm, and we are making a commitment to better serve our clients by maintaining a presence in South Florida and the Treasure Coast,” Campbell said. We are excited to have Brandon Perkins join the firm. He is a consummate trial lawyer.”

Of counsel Richard Campbell will work in Florida as well. He spent 32 years as a shareholder at the firm before taking on his new role in September 2015. All three attorneys are trial lawyers who defend clients in complex litigation. Notable firm clients include Ford Motor Co., Fisher-Price, Exxon Mobil and ACE USA Claims.

The Florida offices mark the eighth state the firm has a physical presence in and the first outside of the northeast. In December, the firm changed its name from Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy to its current one after acquiring name partner Joe O'Neil's firm.
