South Florida courts have begun announcing their response plans to the looming threat of Hurricane Dorian.

Palm Beach County has announced all of its clerk and comptrollers offices will be closed Friday beginning at noon. The county also announced that its online services will remain operational, and foreclosure actions scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 2 have been cancelled. Updates can be found at the website mypalmbeachclerk.com/emergency and the emergency hotline at (561) 355-2384 for live updates.

Both Broward and Palm Beach County courts closed beginning at noon Friday. Palm Beach announced it will remain closed through Tuesday on its website.

A press release from the Dade County Courthouse also announced it would cease operations at 3 PM on Friday. The schedule for re-opening court operations are anticipated to follow Miami-Dade Public Schools schedules. The release advised that updates on the status of Miami-Dade courts will be available at www.jud11.flcourts.org as well as its social media accounts and hotline at 305-349-7777.

The Third DCA has not shared whether or not it will remain closed after the Labor Day holiday on Monday. The Fourth DCA closed at noon on Friday.

The Florida Supreme Court will also be hosting updates on the status of all Florida courts on its emergency website.
