Seeing a two-story building with a sweeping two-story glass atrium and minimalist staircase, your first thought is unlikely to be "that looks like a law firm." Kelley Kronenberg's main office intentionally doesn't fit the buttoned-down stereotype. But the business law firm with 150 employees in its new home is boasting about the special features. Heath Eskalyo, CFO and principal partner who spearheaded the project for the firm, said, "We have created a modern workspace that should be a great complement to our collaborative culture and position us for future success." The 35,000-square-foot office building in suburban Davie was designed to foster collaboration and client convenience with contemporary touches like contrasting staircases — one open and airy in the lobby, the other drenched in graffiti. The building features a mock courtroom, collaborative workstations, flexible conference rooms, an employee cafe, a darkened information technology center and rooftop terrace. The new building off Interstate 595 was designed by Cabrera Ramos Architects Inc. in Doral with interiors by G. Alvarez Studio Inc. in Coral Gables, which also designed law offices for Podhurst Orseck and Kobre & Kim.
