Patricia Lebow, a longtime Broad and Cassel West Palm Beach managing partner, joined Comiter, Singer, Baseman & Braun as of counsel and opened a Palm Beach office for the law firm focused on tax and transactions.

Lebow, who primarily works on estate planning, is running the firm's third office, which opened Tuesday at 440 Royal Palm Way in the retail center of the affluent enclave. She becomes the firm's 13th attorney.

Lebow stepped down from her management role at Broad and Cassel in 2017, the same year she was honored by the Daily Business Review with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lebow was the first female lawyer hired by Broad and Cassel in 1976, was the founding partner at its West Palm Beach office in 1983 and served on the firm's executive committee.

The American Bar Association has named Lebow a fellow in recognition of her dedication to the profession.

Comiter Singer is based in Palm Beach Gardens and also has a Boca Raton office. The firm specializes is estate and tax planning, trust and guardianship litigation, business succession planning, pass-through entity structuring and restructuring, and business transactions.
