South Florida powerhouse residential brokerage RelatedISG International Realty named Craig Studnicky as its new president.

Studnicky, who has been RelatedISG CEO for nine years, takes on the job of president, replacing Alex Vidal, who joined real estate firm Realogy as a Coldwell Banker regional vice president in Dallas.

Studnicky will oversee day-to-day operation at RelatedISG, set company culture and lead the conceptualization and implementation of new programs.

Studnicky has been with RelatedISG since its formation in 2011 when he was ISG's principal and the company merged with Jorge Pérez's Related Group.

RelatedISG also promoted sales manager Carolina Gerdts to executive vice president, assisting Studnicky in the Aventura, Fort Lauderdale and Weston offices.

Gerdts, who has more than 15 years of experience in real estate and management, will lead sales and training.

In prepared remarks, Gerdts attributed RelatedISG's success to its team.

"I've always felt that personality opens doors but only character can keep them open. There's a lot of character in our group, and together we have a powerful synergy," she said. "With a team like this, I know the possibilities are endless."

RelatedISG has six offices in Miami-Dade and Broward counties and more than 450 agents focusing on residential transactions, including single-family houses, townhouses and condominium developments.

Matt Allen, Related Group executive vice president and chief operating officer, in a news release said he is confident in Studnicky's leadership.

"I'm confident Craig will continue the direction and methodology that built our strong foundation," while instilling new energy into the brand and lead us to new success," Allen said.
