Jaianna Seaborne

Seaborne litigates civil, family and criminal cases at her firm, the Law Offices of JR Seaborne. She's a former assistant public defender in West Palm Beach and served as a medic in the U.S. Air Force.

Why are you running for this position?

I am running for this office because it was ingrained in me as a child by my parents, and emphasized as a member of the U.S. Air Force, that it is incumbent upon me to step up when there is a void that I can fill, assist where appropriate and be the force of change that I believe is necessary. Those who appear in court deserve, at a minimum, to be treated with respect and fairness. For judges, there is no room for bias, no excuse for ignorance of the law, no allowance for callous application of the law.

What about your experience qualifies you for this position?

As an experienced trial attorney, who also has experience in criminal and family court, I feel confident that my knowledge of the law, skill set and temperament will serve the people of Palm Beach County well in the role of county court judge.
