The president of a Miami-based charter airline sold one Coral Gables home and traded up for another that cost $14.9 million.

Jeff Conry, iAero Airways president, bought the house at 6312 Riviera Drive from Rene A. Garcia on the same day he sold Garcia the house at 7270 W. Lago Drive for $3.7 million, according to Miami-Dade County deed and property appraiser's records. Both transactions closed July 24.

The two mansions front a canal and are just over a mile from each other. Conroy's new home is much bigger at 13,553 square feet and six bedrooms, while his previous home measured 7,061 square feet with five bedrooms.

The two-story Riviera Drive home east of U.S. 1 includes a pool and tennis court, while the Lago Drive home in the Cocoplum neighborhood has a pool, the appraiser's office shows.

Conry has been the leader of iAero Airways since 2011 when it was Swift Air LLC, which became part of the iAero Group last year.

iAero Group is an airplane maintenance, repair and overhaul firm as well as a charter flight operator through its iAero Thrust, iAero Tech and iAero Airways divisions, according to its website.

iAero Thrust was formed after the 2018 acquisition of Miami-based engine repair company AeroThrust Holdings. iAero Tech was formed after the acquisition of Miami Tech Aircraft Maintenance the same year.

Conry bought the Lago Drive home in October 2019 for more than $3.63 million, deed records show. Garcia bought the Riviera Drive home in June 2012 for $5.88 million.
