The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida is set to adjudicate a proposed class action seeking millions of dollars in damages against Veza Sur Brewing and Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV LLC, a company linked to one of the world’s largest brewers.

Plaintiffs claim Veza Sur has marketed itself as an independent craft beer brewery in Miami’s trendy Wynwood neighborhood, when in fact it is part of a powerful conglomerate. They allege it has designed its products to look like they came from an authentic local brewery to rake in millions in profits from the lucrative craft beer market, which produces small batches with a focus on quality, flavor and brewing techniques.
