A Belgian company headed by a well-heeled investor defeated claims by a Miami international tax attorney who claimed she was given 17 homes that she was hired to manage in affluent Coral Gables.

Agorive NV, led by principal Marc Van Moerbeke, said attorney Suzanne DeWitt was retained to help with the $15 million real estate venture but instead kept the properties and rental income and lived in one of them.
