When Adam Myron, who is currently a senior counsel at Day Pitney in West Palm Beach, purchased a book for training for a triathlon with his then-girlfriend several years ago, Myron did not know it would lead to their marriage.

The book outlined various training programs for different types of triathlons. And for Myron, participating in the race fit into his active lifestyle and competitive nature.
