Prominent Miami developer Avra Jain is on the hook for $2.4 million in attorney fees to a former Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney managing partner for her unsuccessful legal malpractice lawsuit.

Jain in 2017 sued the law firm and former partner Richard Morgan over their work representing her in a lawsuit she lost against business partner Abraham Cohen in a failed Doral venture. Buchanan Ingersoll countersued Jain for breach of contract, saying she stopped paying the firm.
