U.S. law firms competing for talent to build out their U.S.-based Latin America practices extend their poaching streak as Holland & Knight adds a partner with expertise in the region.
Steven Sandretto, a veteran of the Latin America legal market, joins the firm in New York as a partner from Paul Hastings as part of its Northeast corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions practice, as well as its Latin America practice.
Sandretto has almost 20 years experience in capital markets, securities and finance work with a particular emphasis on Latin American countries such as Mexico and Brazil, including a stint in São Paulo.
