The death of a 3-year-old boy, who was hit by a Homestead car dealership manager test driving a car, has led to a $5.5 million settlement, with the help of plaintiff lawyers Michael Haggard and Adam Finkel of the Haggard Law Firm in Coral Gables.

The facts of the wrongful death lawsuit were harrowing. And that’s precisely why the defendant car dealership argued it wasn’t liable, as it reasoned the driver was acting outside the scope of his employment.
