The Richmond Heights neighborhood in southern Miami-Dade County started as a first-of-its-kind community built exclusively for Black veterans of World War II.

In recognition of that history, Bilzin Sumberg partner Stanley Price bolstered an effort to add a section of Richmond Heights, once home to a U.S. Navy blimp base, to the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
